Lady Bug Spoon Rest in Emerald

This lady bug spoon rest is hand painted in a watercolor like style in my favorite warm tones. Little details are both impressed and slip trailed. Perfect to catch your spoon drips!

Inspired by the spring and summer garden. As a kiddo one of my favorite books was Robert Louis Stevenson's A Childs Garden Book of Verses. The poem "The Little Land" was my special fave! Take a read if you haven't.  I find myself often in this little land now examining creatures in the flowers as an adult. Rereading it now, it was almost prophetic. These little moments inspire so much of my work.
