Coral Petal Bloom Vessel

Dreaming of coral under the sea, beautiful and essential creatures for health of the ocean. Pulling forms from coral and some of the creatures that live there this beautiful piece carries a lot of movement in its shapes. Beginning with a thrown vase form, handbuilt 'petals' and details have been added along with my signature carving and slip trailed details. These forms provide a beautiful surface for the glaze to flow and play. Now imagine her crowned with one or two of your beautiful spring blooms!
